Privacy policyHow we look after your information.

Plain English, no fine print. This explains what we collect when you ask for a quote, why we collect it, who sees it and what you can do about it. Last updated 25 October 2026.

Who we are

Tree Problem No Problem (ABN 71 686 471 866) is a tree service based in Thornlands, Queensland. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Tree Problem No Problem.

What we collect

When you send the quote form on this website, we collect:

  • your name
  • your phone number
  • your suburb
  • the service you need
  • the message you write about the tree

Please keep the message to the job: there’s no need to include anything sensitive. If you call or text us, we also have your phone number and whatever you tell us about the job.

Our website may also collect technical information, such as the pages you visit, your device and browser type and your approximate location. See “Website analytics” below.

Why we collect it

We use your information to reply to you, arrange a time to look at the tree, give you a quote, do the job, send you an invoice, and keep records of our work. We don’t use it for anything else, unless you would reasonably expect it or the law requires it.

Who sees it

Andrew and the crew see what you send us. Your form message is carried by our website host and email provider, who handle it on our behalf.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t pass it to other businesses to market to you. We share it only where it’s needed to do the job (for example, giving the council the details it needs if you ask us to handle an approval), where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

Some of the services we rely on, such as website hosting, email and analytics, may store information on servers outside Australia.

Website analytics

We may use Google Analytics to see how people use this website, for example which pages are read most. It may use cookies and similar tools, and Google may process the information it collects. It doesn’t tell us who you are. You can turn cookies off in your browser, or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

This website links to other sites, such as Google (for our reviews) and Facebook. They have their own privacy policies.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the job and our records, then we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Call 0431 732 028 or use the quote form and say it’s a privacy request. We’ll reply within a reasonable time, and if we can’t give you access, we’ll tell you why.

Complaints

If you think we’ve mishandled your information, tell us first, by phone or through the form, and we’ll look into it. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest version: 25 October 2026.
