Every block is different, so every clearing starts with a free look: what’s growing there, what has to go, what could stay and how the crew gets in.

  • Scrub and undergrowth cleared
  • Stumps ground, about 200 mm below ground level, if you want them gone
  • Branches chipped on site, and the rest hauled away by tipper and trailer

Timber kept or taken

Good timber can be cut for firewood. The rest is taken away.

“Great service, used this company a few times now on our acreage property removing large trees supplying chip and trimming / shaping trees.”

Nathan T., Google review

“I needed a large tree removed to make room for a septic system. Andrew was super-precise in making sure the tree would fall in one direction. He then cut the trunk into chunks suitable for firewood.”

Dietrich L., Google review

“They removed several problem trees, all debris was mulched and taken away.”

Before you clear

Check the rules, then we get to work.

In Redland City, some private trees are protected, and removing protected vegetation without approval is an offence that can bring fines or an order to restore it. Protection can come from the City Plan’s environmental overlays, a covenant, a development approval condition or a Vegetation Protection Order.

You can check a property’s zone and overlays on Council’s Red-e-Map tool. In South East Queensland, removing native trees in a mapped koala habitat area can also need State approval. State rules can apply as well: Council points people to 135VEG (13 58 34) before clearing.

We’ll tell you what applies at the quote and can handle the council side. See our guides to Redland City Council tree rules and what land clearing is.

Land clearing questions

Good to know before we start.

Something else? Call Andrew on 0431 732 028.

Do I need council approval to clear my land?

Sometimes. It depends on the land and what’s growing on it, because some private trees are protected. We’ll tell you at the quote and can handle the approval for you. See our council rules guide.

What happens to the trees and scrub?

Branches are chipped on site and the green waste is taken away, unless you’d like to keep the mulch or the timber.

Can you take out the stumps too?

Yes, if you want them gone. We grind stumps to about 200 mm below ground level. See stump grinding.

Do you clear acreage?

Yes. One customer wrote about using us a few times on their acreage property. Bigger jobs go further than our usual area, so call even if you’re out past it.

Can I keep the timber and the mulch?

Yes. Customers have had trunks cut into firewood-length chunks and chip supplied after a job. We also sell firewood and mulch if you’d rather buy.

How do I get a price?

Quotes are free. We look at the block first, 7 days a week, and same-day service is available.
